Dr. Nicholas Rice practices Direct Primary Care at the Stillwater Drive office in Prescott, bringing more than thirty years of internal medicine experience to every patient he sees.

Dr. Rice is board certified in Internal Medicine and has spent his career caring for adults across the full range of primary care — from routine preventive visits to the management of complex, long-term conditions. His clinical experience includes years at University Medical Center in Tucson and at Yavapai Regional Medical Center here in Prescott, where he came to know the health needs of this community firsthand.

Dr. Rice describes his approach simply: thoughtful, personalized care without rushing, red tape, or barriers between physician and patient.

Longer visits leave room for the parts of medicine that usually get squeezed out: reviewing what a specialist actually said, talking through lab results line by line, adjusting a medication and then checking back to see whether it worked. Dr. Rice coordinates that follow-through himself rather than handing it off.
